Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and remediation across residential, commercial, and large-scale projects. This role covers technical assessment, humidity control, and coordination of multiple teams to meet strict deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring IICRC S500/S520 knowledge, ASD certification, and proficiency with meters/IR cameras. Expect travel and after-hours work as part of maintaining property restoration projects.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC ASD designation.
• Must demonstrate mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Must demonstrate proper use of meters and IR camera; understanding materials.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Draw sketches, read plans, develop humidity content records and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load, cubic meters affected, and request support for large losses.
• Determine electrical consumption and power source requirements for drying equipment.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property and ensure customer service.
• Travel as needed; work nights and weekends.
• Accurate time and materials reporting; attend required security training.
