Job summary

LHH is partnering with an established distribution organization in Richmond, CA to hire a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor. You will lead daily warehouse operations, coach staff, and ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, workforce planning, and using ERP/WMS systems to monitor activity and drive performance. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in warehouse leadership and a proven track record with forklift operations.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience, including employee supervision.
Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, workforce planning, coaching, and performance management.
Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn ERP and warehouse management systems.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, train, and evaluate warehouse employees while supporting workforce planning and performance management.
Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, productivity, and daily operational decisions.
Maintain compliance with workplace safety and applicable food safety practices.
Monitor workflow, staffing, accuracy, and service levels; address issues quickly and effectively.
Use warehouse and business systems to track activity and support operational reporting.
Operate material handling equipment as needed and reinforce safe equipment practices.
