Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in California to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure safety, and drive efficiency. You will supervise staff, manage shipping/receiving, and monitor inventory levels to meet performance goals.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse leadership, strong knowledge of ERP/WMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a focus on food safety is a plus. On-site role with opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
• Proven experience interviewing, training, coaching, evaluating employees, and making personnel recommendations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, warehouse systems, productivity measures, and material-handling equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to learn and utilize ERP, warehouse management, and other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel to ensure productivity, accuracy, and safety.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and operational decision-making to meet service and performance goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, warehouse procedures, and company policies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, and productivity metrics to improve operational efficiency.
• Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and personnel development activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
