Job summary

GEODIS in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily distribution center activities, coordinate shifts, manage staffing, and ensure accurate inventory and safety compliance.

You will supervise team members, train new hires, optimize processes, monitor labor hours and timekeeping, prepare reports for leadership, and implement improvements while upholding company policies and ISO9002 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years warehouse/distribution center experience
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with warehouse equipment
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Experience with labor management systems
• PC literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory and material handling
• Prepares work schedules and manages labor needs
• Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system
• Interviews and trains new team members
• Ensures compliance with company policies and ISO9002 procedures
• Develops process improvements to increase efficiency
• Prepares reports for leadership
• Ensures safety and accurate stock records
