Job summary

GEODIS seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily activities in our distribution center. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating order fulfillment, inventory management, and scheduling while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The candidate will oversee labor, train new team members, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency. This position supports a Monday–Friday 6:30am–4pm schedule with opportunities for growth within the GEODIS organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with labor management systems.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and related needs.
• Prepares work schedules and manages labor hours and payroll.
• Interviews and trains prospective and new team members.
• Supervises staff development including appraising performance and addressing complaints.
• Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals.
• Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or distribution center.
• Maintains records and ensures compliance with procedures and policies.
• Schedules work for inventories and tracks stock discrepancies.
• Submits billing and supervises distribution center operations according to policies.
