Job summary

Medline Industries is seeking a warehouse operations supervisor to manage daily activities, ensuring receipt, storage and shipment of materials are performed in accordance with procedures. You will supervise staff, mentor the team, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include optimizing space, reviewing procedures, coordinating with customer service, and participating in hiring and performance reviews. A strong focus on safety and Medline Core Values is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• At least 3 years warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Direct and supervise warehouse staff.
• Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.
• Audit goods received into warehouse.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees; assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work.
• Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.
• Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
• Ensure accuracy of the inventory.
