Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Stockton facility. You will supervise 20+ employees, plan inbound and outbound workflows, and ensure accurate inventory controls while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent); 1–3 months related experience may be considered.
• Experience supervising 20+ employees is typical for this role.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse operations is important.

Responsibilities

• Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report to plan work activities.
• Plans inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Ensures procedures are communicated and understood by warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and evaluates performance by function and department.
• Works with Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Oversees payroll for the department.
• Trains employees and resolves grievances.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed.
