Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will lead data-driven CI, engineering and automation efforts to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth, interfacing with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities include managing high-impact CI projects, coaching teams in lean practices, and delivering measurable results while collaborating with customers and account teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business or supply chain.
• 7+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL/DAX.
• Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma and CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.
• Collect data, perform analyses, map processes, and drive transformation plans.
• Coach teams in lean methods and sustain gains through Kaizen events.
• Coordinate with account management and customers for continuous improvement.
