Job summary

Wesco in Sparks is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping. You will guide a team and ensure work is completed safely and accurately.

You will monitor workflow metrics, conduct safety walks, and collaborate with management on process improvements and cost controls. This role offers training and growth within a Fortune 250 company.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 3 years of warehouse operations experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Associate or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory responsibilities when assigned.
• Monitor workflow metrics and coordinate reporting to and from management.
• Perform daily safety walks and communicate findings to Supervisors.
• Review complex shipments and staged goods prior to shipping for quality.
• Update monthly fuel service charges and shipping cost documents.

Education

3 years of warehouse operations experience
