Job summary

Wesco is hiring for a Lead Associate (Team Lead) in our Macon, GA distribution facility. This on-site role oversees receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting, under supervision, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of warehouse experience, 1–2 years as a Senior Warehouse Associate or similar, and forklift experience. Expect lifting up to 50 pounds and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 3 years of warehouse operations experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Associate or similar.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in directing the work of other associates and job assignments.
• Receive, pick, pack, ship, and wire cut.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities when assigned.
• Monitor workflow metrics and coordinate reporting to and from management.
• Perform daily safety walks and communicate findings to Supervisors.
• Review complex shipments and staged goods prior to shipping for quality.
• Update monthly fuel service charges and shipping cost documents.
