Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. in Boston seeks a Lead Statistician to guide the Wage & Hour Data Analytics group on complex class action analyses and DOL exposure work. You will mentor 2–3 statisticians and coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely, accurate insights.

You will oversee data projects from intake through methodology to results, translate findings for non-technical stakeholders, and help shape proactive analytics strategies for clients.

Qualifications

• Seven years of data experience with Wage & Hour topics, preferably in legal/HR context.
• Direct experience with California Wage & Hour data is a plus.
• Experience leading analytics projects from start to finish.
• Experience balancing multiple priorities in project management.
• Experience supervising others with quality control and code reviews.
• Expert knowledge of R or Python and Excel to automate tasks.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating analysis into meaningful legal recommendations.
• Experience implementing process improvements is a plus.
• Willingness to conform to standardized group practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to determine strategies on data analytics projects.
• Assess client exposure under class/collective actions using appropriate methods.
• Oversee 2-3 statisticians ensuring timely, accurate deliverables.
• Ensure high-quality work products and mentoring for team members.
• Communicate analysis processes and results clearly to attorneys and clients.
• Lead multiple projects from data intake to completion.
• Collaborate with attorneys on analysis revisions during proceedings.
