Job summary

The role requires 7+ years of environmental lab experience, a B.S./M.S. in chemistry, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry or environmental chemistry.
• 7+ years in environmental laboratory settings.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Commercial environmental lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for VOC and specialty analyses.
• Review and approve data, reports, and QA/QC documentation.
• Troubleshoot GC/MS systems and analytical issues.
• Train and mentor junior chemists and laboratory analysts.
• Develop, validate, and implement new analytical methods and services.
• Improve laboratory efficiency, turnaround times, and profitability.
• Support ISO 17025 audits and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, and business development teams on new services.
