Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples with GC/MS and related techniques, focusing on semi-volatile organics. The role requires adherence to QA/QC procedures and proper handling of solvents and lab glassware.

The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with training provided. Benefits include medical, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in Chemistry or related field, or an Associate Degree with related lab experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Maintain and operate routine laboratory instruments and software as required.
