Job summary

Entech Instruments Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Applications Scientist for EPA Method TO-15/TO-15A in Simi Valley. You will bridge instrumentation engineering and lab execution, leading method development, validation, and customer training.

You will serve as SME on canister sampling and GC/MS analyses, author publications, and support global clients with technical expertise and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years hands-on GC/MS experience with EPA TO-15/TO-15A in a lab.
• Experience with preconcentration, thermal desorbers, and autosamplers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document methods for EPA TO-15/TO-15A analyses in air.
• Evaluate sampling systems and troubleshoot GC/MS performance.
• Author technical notes, white papers, and SOPs; train customers.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and client training.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D to improve instruments.
• Present at technical meetings and contribute to standards discussions.
