Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing seeks a Senior Applications Chemist to provide expert GC and GC/MS leadership across projects and teams. You will troubleshoot advanced issues, optimize methods, and drive technical excellence in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Extensive experience with GC/MS platforms including GC/MS/MS.
• Demonstrated leadership in method development and problem solving.
• English proficiency for reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for GC and GC/MS instrumentation and applications.
• Lead investigations of complex analytical issues affecting data quality or turnaround time.
• Support method development, modification, and validation projects.
• Establish best practices for instrument maintenance and monitoring.
• Partner with QA, operations, and leadership for continuous improvement across Eurofins labs.
• Support client technical discussions and inquiries requiring advanced analytical knowledge.
• Contribute to evaluation and implementation of new instrumentation and technologies.
• Provide advanced training and mentorship to lab teams.
