Job summary

SanAir Technologies Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Chemist for our VOC Organics team. This full-time position focuses on analyzing air samples using EPA TO-15 and TO-17 methods with GC and GC-MS, and supporting gravimetric and calibration workflows.

You will work with the Senior Analyst, perform QA/QC, data review and reporting, and help maintain precision sampling equipment and robotic systems. Overtime and occasional weekend shifts may be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Physical Science.
• 1–2 years lab experience preferred in a laboratory environment.
• Experience in GC and/or GC/MS analysis.
• Able to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with QA/QC and ISO 17025 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of air samples following EPA TO-15 and TO-17.
• Assist gravimetric department in weighing particulate samples.
• Maintain and prepare precision sampling equipment using robotics.
• Maintain QA/QC lab protocols.
• Data review, validation and reporting.
• Lab equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Complete other assigned tasks.
