Job summary

Orlando Vets Eastwood is seeking a full-time Lead Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, setting a positive tone for their visit. You will handle front-desk operations in a fast-paced clinic and partner with team members to deliver outstanding client service and animal care.

You will greet clients, manage appointment sign-in, process payments, coordinate scheduling, and answer calls for inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in, confirm details, and escort to exam rooms
• Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process cards, and schedule future appointments
• Answer calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, refills, and other requests; make reminders and follow-ups
• Understand vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, and veterinary terminology
• Maintain cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience
