Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks an experienced Foreman A to lead and supervise vegetation management crews on line clearance projects. The role requires strong leadership, climbing skills, pruning expertise, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities include scheduling crews, ensuring safety, maintaining records, and coordinating maintenance of tools and equipment. Travel to various locations and on-call storm response may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Spanish/English bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice and work extended periods in various locations.
• Must be safety conscious and able to lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices per company policies.
• Schedule crews and assign work efficiently.
• Maintain records (written and computer).
• Lead, train, and coach team on pruning techniques.
• Communicate with customers about project details and methods.
• Coordinate and inspect crew work for quality and safety.
• Readily join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Follow Line Clearance Contract requirements.
