Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services seeks a Foreman to lead daily field operations on utility construction projects. The role blends hands-on labor with supervision, ensuring safe installation and timely completion while maintaining quality and compliance with plans and specifications.

You will supervise crews, review drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, mentor team members, and uphold OSHA standards. A minimum five years in construction with at least two in a foreman role is required; willingness

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years hands-on construction experience.
• Two+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience coordinating field crews and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates daily activity and time reporting of field crews.
• Performs toolbox talks, permits handling, and paperwork reviews.
• Reviews project plans and tracks materials, deliveries, and subcontractor work.
• Inspects work progress, equipment, and sites to ensure safety and specifications.
• Communicates with the Superintendent and project managers to resolve issues and changes.
• Mentors crew members and conducts performance evaluations.
• Willing to perform laborer/operator duties as needed and work six days a week if required.
