Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Foreman to lead utility construction projects on site. The role combines hands-on labor with strong leadership to ensure safe, efficient installation and maintenance of utility systems.

You will oversee field crews, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with project management to keep work on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has at least five years in construction with two years in supervision, OSHA certifications, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Minimum five years hands-on construction experience with two years in a supervisory role.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret schematics.
• Willing to perform laborer and operator duties when needed.
• Able to work six days per week if required.
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite daily.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily field crew activity.
• Oversee toolbox talks, permits, and paperwork.
• Review project plans, track materials, deliveries, subcontractors.
• Inspect sites for safety and compliance with specs.
• Resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Mentor crew members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Communicate with Superintendent and project managers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ensure on-site safety and quality standards.
