Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Foreman to lead daily utility construction operations, combining hands-on labor with leadership to ensure safe installation and maintenance of utility systems. The role emphasizes supervision, safety, and efficient project execution.

The Foreman will oversee field crews, ensure compliance with plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and mentor team members to uphold Benchmark's high standards of quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years hands-on construction experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Willing to perform laborer and operator duties when needed.
• Willing to work six days a week if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates daily activity and time reporting of field crews.
• Reviews project plans and tracks materials, deliveries, trucking and subcontractor work.
• Ensures safety and compliance with site regulations and company standards.
• Trains and mentors crew members to enhance technical skills.
• Manages on-site communication with Superintendent and project managers.
