Position Overview

The Lead Utility Cleaner oversees custodial staff, manages daily operations, schedules, maintains quality standards, and ensures safety compliance. Responsibilities include managing supplies, coordinating with departments, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision and Management: Manage custodial team, develop schedules, conduct inspections.
2. Operational Management: Develop cleaning procedures, ensure proper techniques, coordinate with departments.
3. Training and Compliance: Ensure staff training, maintain OSHA compliance, keep Exposure Control Plan updated.
4. Inventory and Supplies Management: Manage supplies and equipment, monitor usage, order replacements.
5. Quality Control: Perform inspections, address deficiencies, implement quality assurance.
6. Health and Safety: Conduct safety meetings, investigate incidents.
7. Customer Service: Address inquiries, respond to feedback, improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications preferred.
• 3-5 years custodial experience, with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
