Job summary

Cochise College invites applications for a User Support Supervisor who will actively supervise the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware, software, AV equipment, and network cabling across campus.

This working supervisor will lead technicians, coordinate service requests, manage inventory and vendor relations, and ensure timely responses to students, employees, and the public while upholding college policies.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time, professional computer and network repair experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Valid AZ driver's license.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening to obtain Fort Huachuca access badge.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware and software.
• Oversee coordination and assignment of technicians and service requests.
• Monitor hardware inventory and coordinate with vendors for quotes and orders.
• Lead AV and classroom technology support including video conferencing.
• Coordinate services with third-party vendors and maintain up-to-date procedures.
• Utilize the service ticketing system to document maintenance and communicate with stakeholders.
