Job summary

Broadstaff, LLC seeks an experienced Underground Foreman to lead a 3-person crew on fiber optic expansion and maintenance projects in the Lufkin, TX area. You will oversee day-to-day underground construction activities, prioritize safety, and ensure work meets customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on leadership of HDD and Mini X operations, strong knowledge of OSP practices, and the ability to read construction prints. Occasional on-call duties and regular documentation are included.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underground construction experience required.
• Experience as Foreman, Lead, or senior crew member.
• Valid driver’s license; pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a 3-person underground fiber construction crew.
• Coordinate and perform underground construction activities, including cable and conduit placement.
• Ensure work meets customer requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain daily production goals and complete project documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and communicate with project managers and customers.
