Job summary

Telecon is seeking an Underground Construction Foreman to lead a fiber network crew on Puget Sound projects. You’ll supervise excavation, conduit placement, and fiber proofing, coordinating daily field operations across WA sites.

Expect physical outdoor work, a 5-day week, 7:00 AM start, and ownership of crew performance. Qualified candidates have 4+ years as a foreman in underground fiber/civil work, strong planning and leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years as a foreman or crew lead in underground utility or fiber construction.
• Ability to read construction plans and manage field crews.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a field crew of underground fiber construction laborers, assigning daily tasks and production goals.
• Review work orders, prints, and project documentation to plan safe, efficient execution of underground conduit and fiber placement work.
• Conduct pre-task planning, toolbox talks, JSAs/JHAs, and safety inspections with proper documentation.
