Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor - Experienced Unarmed to oversee a shift, coordinate delivery of quality security services, and serve as the liaison among site supervisors and officers. The role includes coaching, recognition, and discipline within the empowerment range.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, able to prepare reports, and possess strong communication and customer service skills, with valid licensing where required and the ability to handle crisis

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public; use initiative within guidelines.
• Must be able to prepare reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required by laws and regulations.
• Drivers: valid license, clean record within thresholds, insurance as required.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
