Job summary
Penske is seeking an experienced Technician I in Jackson, MS to maintain and repair a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs with supervision as needed while advancing through Penske’s training programs.

Qualifications
- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
Responsibilities
- Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
- Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision
- Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
- Replacing complete assemblies and components as needed
- Keeping workspace clean and safe
- Learning Penske maintenance processes and using Penske tools to log repairs
