Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials); ASE Certification and 608/609 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Working on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
