Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Good organizational ability and multitasking capability.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Valid CDL and safe driving capability required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new tasks and units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies and trains staff.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and work scope with owners/customers; escalates to supervisor when needed.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Promotes good customer relations through quality work and conduct.
• Investigates minor incidents/damage and settles routine claims.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of resources.
• Reports orders completed, units of work, crew time, and repairs.
• Provides periodic incident and equipment reports.
• Coordinates with customers, police, and fire departments for operations.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools and vehicles.
• Keeps up with equipment specs, procedures, and company policies.
