Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson responsible for directing daily crew operations, coordinating with management on hiring needs, and enforcing safety protocols on job sites.

You will lead field training, manage access, communicate with customers, track crew performance, and ensure compliance with OSHA rules, while maintaining equipment and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organization skills and be able to multi-task.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving/interpreting orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices in line with OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses with property owners issues such as access, power interruption, and scope; refers complex cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of assigned work and crew behavior.
• Keeps reports of orders completed and crew time; provides incident/repair reports as needed.
• Carries out Trimmer/Climber tasks as required.
