Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily operations, supervise a crew, and coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols.

You will troubleshoot field issues, train crew members, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. A CDL and hands-on leadership are required to effectively guide field activities.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Physical capability to perform job duties including overhead work.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work from management orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work scope; refers conflicts to supervisor.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports; monitors costs and equipment use.
• Prepares reports on incidents, equipment issues, and crew performance.
• Ensures truck and tools are maintained and kept in good condition.
