Job summary

Consor is seeking a highly motivated Professional Engineer for our Drainage/H&H group in Florida. The role requires independent work and strong judgment in applying engineering techniques, with responsibilities spanning drawings, calculations, specifications, and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities include leading FDOT drainage design, hydrologic analyses, preparing reports, and cost estimates, while coordinating with multiple disciplines and assisting project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 7+ years drainage or H&H engineering experience.
• Natural leader willing to champion a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage design for FDOT roadway projects in Florida.
• Develop drainage concepts and perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems.
• Prepare drainage calculations, reports, design plans, and technical specifications.
• Design storm sewer systems, pond systems, exfiltration systems, and roadway drainage infrastructure.
• Perform design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards; assist with project management.
• Prepare reports and develop probable construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines (roadway, geotech, structures).
• Handle routine contract administration.
