Job summary

Consor in Draper, UT is seeking a stormwater engineer with 4+ years of experience to review designs, perform H&H analyses, develop drainage plans, and mentor junior staff. The role blends office work with occasional project-site visits and exposes you to a range of infrastructure projects.

You will manage drainage studies, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with roadway, geotechnical, and structures teams while growing professionally in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of stormwater, H&H, and drainage experience.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil3D or AutoCAD (training available).
  • UDOT project experience is a plus.
  • Experience with floodplain mapping and FEMA/local analyses is favorable.
  • Degree in Civil/Environmental/Construction-related field and PE license.

Responsibilities

  • Review project designs and reports; assist with project management and scheduling.
  • Perform H&H analyses using governing codes and standards.
  • Prepare construction plans, specs, and technical memoranda/reports.
  • Develop probable construction cost estimates.
  • Observe construction and coordinate with contractors.
  • Coordinate work with roadway, geotechnical, and structures teams.
  • Conduct stormwater studies ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff and designers.
