Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Foreman to supervise field crews and coordinate daily operations for transmission and distribution structure work. You will manage safety, scheduling, and quality while ensuring efficient crew performance in outdoor environments.

The role requires travel, strong inspection and coating application knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and manage resources effectively. Extensive field experience and a valid DOT medical exam are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of an 8–10 week Foreman Training Program covering administration, crew management, inspection procedures, surface preparation and coating applications, safety, and driver qualification.
• Two years technical education or equivalent work experience; ability to travel extensively; read and interpret structural drawings/blueprints; familiarity with shop machinery and hand tools.
• Strong math skills and ability to calculate rates and measurements; ability to identify safety risks and implement precautions; effective communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field crew of up to five employees; plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations for various job types.
• Perform site work including excavation, inspection, coating, and restoration according to procedures and customer specifications.
• Maintain professional conduct and customer relations; manage timekeeping, payroll data, and field reporting.
• Ensure safety by conducting daily briefings, safety meetings, and enforcing safe work practices; monitor tool condition and driver qualifications.
• Organize resources, prioritize work, transport materials and crew to job sites; maintain equipment and inventory.
