Job summary

Saber Power Services is seeking an experienced Lineman Foreman to lead transmission and distribution crews in building and maintaining power lines both overhead and underground. The role requires strong journeyman-level line experience and proven leadership in a fast-paced field.

You will coordinate daily activities, manage manpower and equipment, and ensure work meets safety standards, OSHA, and NESC requirements.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program.
• Demonstrated crew leadership or foreman experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and utility safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise linemen, apprentices, groundmen, and other field personnel in daily line construction and maintenance activities.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities based on project schedules and available manpower and equipment.
• Build, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines and associated equipment.
• Direct crews in stringing, sagging, splicing, terminating, and connecting of conductors on structures and poles.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and work complies with project specifications.
