Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Foreman - Transmission to lead crews on construction and repair of electrical transmission systems. Travel to multiple job sites, sometimes out-of-state, and report to the General Foreman.

Emphasis on safety and quality in energized and de-energized work. The role requires coaching junior staff, extensive field knowledge of overhead lines, and the ability to manage outages, storms, and emergencies including on-call work.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• CDL required to operate equipment and travel to sites.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice and work outages, storms, emergencies.
• Ability to lead a crew, train lower classification employees and conduct safety briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized transmission systems.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines and related hardware.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines; ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Operate and maintain transmission line equipment and travel to sites as needed.
