Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line EPC Program Lead to direct the transmission line scope within large, multidisciplinary infrastructure programs in the United States. You will coordinate with owners, engineering teams and EPC contractors to align routing, design, permitting, constructability and schedule, while proactively managing risk.

This leadership role requires a PE license, 10+ years in transmission line design or EPC delivery, PMP certification preferred, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years related experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams with strong communication.
• Experience with transmission line design standards and permitting.
• Willingness to travel and support field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line scope within large EPC programs.
• Advise clients on routing, design, permitting, right‑of‑way and outage planning.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of transmission line scope execution.
• Coordinate with EPC contractor, subconsultants, and HDR staff.
• Identify risks including permitting constraints and material lead times.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC and contract conformance.
