Job summary

Campos EPC, LLC is seeking a Lead Transmission Engineer to lead the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD. You will mentor engineers, support client relationships, and drive project execution in a hybrid California-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of experience in transmission line engineering.
• Experience designing 69kV–500kV transmission lines with PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and design of high-voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents, including plan and profile drawings and foundation drawings.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for transmission line clients within the region.
• Mentor and support the professional development of engineers.
• Provide training and technical guidance on transmission line design and PLS-CADD best practices.
• Provide field support during construction activities as needed.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and lead engineering work with sound technical judgment.
• Perform assignments involving conventional practices and complex challenges.
• Coordinate project studies, reports, and deliverables across departments.
