Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr Shop Trailer Technician for a dedicated on-site shop position. This role performs certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and various trailer repairs. It functions as a lead on jobsites, providing diagnostics and guidance to junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have HS diploma, 5+ years in related field, ASE certifications, CDL-A, and strong mechanical skills. A $1,000 new hire bonus is offered, and weekly pay is provided where available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years in related field preferred.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• Participants must be at least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and procedures at all times.
• Determine parts required for each job and coordinate with Parts Department.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and assist in daily tool/part cleanup.
• Perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trailers.
• Document work and upload RO details using company device/Karmak system.
• Complete DOT forms and other required documentation promptly.
