Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Shop Trailer Mechanic for on-site work at our locations. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced trailer repairs, including brakes, liftgates, welding, and fabrication.

• Requires DOT experience with inspections and PMs.
• Lead on jobsites with strong diagnostic skills.
• Experience with heavy-duty trailer systems.
• Must pass DOT medical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and procedures.
• Determine parts and coordinate with Parts Dept.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on trailers.
• Diagnose and repair advanced trailer systems.
• Document work with RO in Karmak.
