Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior traffic and safety engineering leader to manage a 6-8 person team across multiple Central States Office locations. You will oversee budgets, staffing, and delivery of transportation projects from feasibility through construction, while mentoring staff and coordinating with other offices.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery oversight, and collaboration with marketing and client relations to secure and execute projects to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the section's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Manages, grows and develops the discipline-specific engineering section; coordinates section activities and staffing.
• Supports SSA-based project pursuits and contracting processes including scope, work plans and fees.
• Oversees SDA processes including Work Planning and Monthly Project Reviews to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assists in marketing, client discovery, proposals and win-to-work activities; maintains client satisfaction.
• Recruits, hires, develops and retains staff; plans staff reporting and performance reviews.
