Job summary

Consor in Houston is seeking a Senior Traffic Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex traffic engineering and ITS projects in the region. You will oversee planning, design, PS&E, and construction support, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to success.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and regulators, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while advancing mobility and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering large roadway/highway projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates; ensure client objectives and profitability.
• Provide oversight for complex traffic engineering projects including ITS and PS&E packages.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, and construction support.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain clear, proactive communication.
• Drive business development; pursue new traffic engineering and ITS projects.
• Oversee project financial performance and risk mitigation; ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
