Qualifications

Lead railway track engineering, maintenance and capital improvement programs.
Manage contracts, budgets and competing priorities for complex projects.
Know track design, inspection, maintenance and applicable standards (FRA/CPUC).

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, coordinate and review work for staff or contractors; identify and resolve issues with stakeholders.
Oversee track engineering contracts, cost estimates, and design approvals.
Train, mentor and evaluate engineering personnel; implement performance improvements.
Develop and administer track programs to meet standards and safety goals.
Monitor budgets, staffing, and service delivery for efficiency.
