Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment using the High Scope curriculum. You will lead with an assistant, foster social, emotional and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning, and partner with families while mentoring staff.

Location: Lake Orion, MI; Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:15am–5:15pm; Pay: $15–$20/hour based on certification or degree plus experience.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom.
• CPR certification required (within 30 days).
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience leading toddler classrooms.

As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum. With the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher, you will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning experiences, while building strong partnerships with families and mentoring staff.

Position Details

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:15am-5:15pm)
• Pay rate- $15-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required
• Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field is preferred
• A minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom is required
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
