Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily infant activities using the High Scope curriculum, with support from an assistant teacher to ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment.

This full-time onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a pay rate of $16–$20 per hour based on certification and experience, and opportunities for paid professional development in a family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom.
• CPR Certification.
• Willing to pursue higher education per NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities for infants with an assistant teacher.
• Provide a safe, nurturing and enriching learning environment.
• Utilize the High Scope curriculum to support infant development.

We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our Lake Orion team.

As the Lead, you will help foster curiosity, growth, and security during a child's most important developmental years. You play a vital role in the development and well-being of infants, leading the day-to-day activities with the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for infants utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Details

Status: Regular, full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)

Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)

Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI
