Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, Michigan is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher. You will work with the Lead Toddler Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for toddlers, applying the High Scope approach and developmentally appropriate activities.

The role requires 18+ years old, a CDA or pursuing ECE, and prior toddler experience. This onsite position offers meaningful growth and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer a CDA credential or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Able to pass Background screening including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment.
• Help implement the High Scope curriculum and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Collaborate with the Lead Toddler Teacher to support daily routines and learning goals.

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion is looking for caring, energetic Assistant Toddler Teachers to help inspire a lifelong love of learning.

As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Detail

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
• Pay range: $15-$19/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan
• Please note: This position does NOT qualify for US VISA sponsorship or relocation.
