Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily activities for babies using the High Scope curriculum. You will work with an assistant teacher to create a safe, nurturing learning environment and support families.

This regular, full-time role offers Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, competitive pay ($16-$20/hour) based on certification and experience, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required.
• CPR Certification required; willingness to pursue higher education per NAEYC and Michigan guidelines.

We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our Lake Orion team.

As the Lead, you will help foster curiosity, growth, and security during a child’s most important developmental years. You play a vital role in the development and well‑being of infants, leading the day‑to‑day activities with the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for infants utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Details:

Status: Regular, full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)

Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
