Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Clarkston, MI, seeks an Assistant Toddler Teacher to join a safe, engaging classroom implementing High Scope with Lead teacher support. This full-time, onsite role offers Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, pay $14.50-$18.50/hour depending on education and experience, and benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid time off, and professional development.

Candidates should be 18+, have toddler experience preferred, CPR certification, CDA or working toward an ECE

Qualifications

• Background screening including fingerprinting is required.
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff.
• Experience with Toddlers in classroom preferred.
• CDA credential or working toward degree in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead teacher with High Scope curriculum activities.
• Support a safe, engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
• Help implement age-appropriate learning activities and routines.

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are actively seeking a caring, energetic and reliable Assistant Toddler teacher to support a safe and engaging classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore. Working alongside the Lead teacher, you will help implement age-appropriate learning activities utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

POSITION Details

• Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
• Pay range $14.50-$18.50 per hour (depending on education or certification plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
• Desired start date: August 17, 2026
• Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with Toddlers in the classroom setting is preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting
• Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus
• Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff but may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
