Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is seeking an Assistant Toddler teacher to support a safe, engaging classroom environment for young children. You will work with the Lead teacher to implement age-appropriate activities using the High Scope curriculum.

This full-time role suits someone passionate about early childhood education, with CPR certification and a CDA or pursuing an ECE degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Prior experience with Toddlers in classroom setting preferred.
• CPR certification required or can be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience with High Scope is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead teacher with age-appropriate activities.
• Support a safe and engaging classroom environment.
• Help implement the High Scope curriculum as part of daily plans.

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are actively seeking a caring, energetic and reliable Assistant Toddler teacher to support a safe and engaging classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore. Working alongside the Lead teacher, you will help implement age-appropriate learning activities utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

POSITION Details

• Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
• Pay range $14.50-$18.50 per hour (depending on education or certification plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
• Desired start date: August 17, 2026
• Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with Toddlers in the classroom setting is preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting
• Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus
• Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff but may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
