Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to manage a developmentally appropriate classroom onsite in Lake Orion, MI. You will work with an assistant teacher to deliver High Scope-inspired activities that promote curiosity, social and cognitive growth, and strong family partnerships.

You will hold a CDA credential, have CPR certification, and bring at least one year of toddler classroom experience, with ongoing opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• CDA credential is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a toddler classroom is required.
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff.
• Willing to pursue higher education per NAEYC and Michigan licensing guidelines.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience leading toddler classrooms.

As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum. With the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher, you will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning experiences, while building strong partnerships with families and mentoring staff.

Position Details

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:15am-5:15pm)
• Pay rate- $15-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required
• Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field is preferred
• A minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom is required
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
